Biography

Thomas was born unresponsive at birth requiring to be resuscitated for 10 mins. He had 72 hours cooling therapy. MRI scan showed extensive damage to his basal ganglia and cerebellum. He has a diagnosis of cerebral palsy.
He is unable to support himself in sitting or standing and is tube fed. He is a happy little boy who is now learning to roll on the floor and although non-verbal he communicates using his eyes.
He has started nursery where he has 1:1 support and enjoys the company of all his classmates.
Thomas loves television, he recently started enjoying Thomas the Tank Engine and his favourite film is Toy Story. He loves to be read stories and likes to turn the pages. Thomas’s most favourite thing is bubbles and would have us blow them all day.
