Thank you

I cannot thank this wonderful charity @lovequiltsuk for making this amazing quilt for Alex. It features characters from Alex's favourite Disney/ Pixar. So many volunteers came together to handmake this and you can see how much love and care went into it. As a keen crafter myself I am so impressed and its inspired me to pay it forward and quilt. We will treasure it forever he loves it!

Biography

Following a traumatic birth at full term Alex suffered a brain injury and was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. It then became apparent that he needed help with feeding and had gastrostomy surgery at 18 months old. He is now fully peg fed on a blended diet.
He then developed epilepsy and suffers frequent seizures whilst on long term medication. He began missing milestones and has since been classified as having grade 5 CP, requiring constant postural management with supportive seating and head support. He is also non-verbal and has cerebral visual impairments.
