Biography

Jake was born apparently fit and healthy in 2006 but at his 5/6 week check up a heart murmur was heard and catapulted us into tests, treatments and at 9 months old open heart surgery.

Jake was a tough little boy and battled and bounced back but developed issues with his legs and stomach and was sent for genetic testing. It took 6 long years to get a diagnosis of CHOPS syndrome which is extremely rare. Jake's the only boy in the UK and there are only 13 children globally but he always has a smile and never complains.
