Thank youWell I think it's safe to say Ryder adores his quilt! We received it yesterday and had a snuggle on the sofa, but today we laid it all out for him to have a good look at and the smiles say it all!!!
A big thank you to all the cross stitchers who did him a square, and a big thank you to the quilter Sarah who has made a wonderful job of putting them all together and making his special quilt!

BiographyRyder was born 13 days overdue with no health issues. At his 6 month check-up I mentioned to health visitors that he still was not holding his head up. He was diagnosed with global development delay on his 1st birthday.
Ryder is now 3 and a half years old, and has just started to sit up independently for a few minutes at a time. Ryder cannot crawl, stand or walk and is non-verbal, although he is very good at getting his point across.
Ryder has had many tests to try to give us a clearer diagnosis, but they have all come back normal.
Ryder is currently waiting for results from genetics to come back. We have been part of the SWAN UK family as, although he has GDD as his diagnosis, it doesn't tell us why. SWAN is syndrome without a name and it's for the children and adults who have rare or unknown conditions.
