Biography

Oscar had always been a clingy baby but as he got older people used to notice his behaviour and ask what was wrong with him. Oscar can be such a loving boy but struggles with change, self-regulation and understanding situations. I stopped social events as he becomes unpredictable, putting himself in dangerous situations.

Getting his diagnosis took a while as they were reading from paper but when they met him he was diagnosed in 10 mins.

In this past year my boy has exceeded with all his routines. Covid allowed us the time to put new things in place and it's been amazing. Since having his diagnosis we have a better understanding, allowing us to adapt for his needs and he is thriving now at school (1 of our biggest challenges). I am so proud that he always keeps trying.
