Biography

Carter was born a healthy 9lb 3oz baby (or so we thought) but when he got to the age of 3 we noticed he wasn’t reaching milestones.

A doctor noticed he couldn’t move very well and suggested a blood test. It came back that Carter had Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a terminal illness that affects all the muscles in the body apart from the brain. He will be left paralysed when his muscles eventually stop working. Despite all of this he is the happiest, most brave little boy, with the most amazing personality.

He truly deserves the world as he is a real life superhero. He will be 10 in February and can’t walk anymore but nothing stops him. He may have many problems but faces each day with a smile.
