Biography

Kane was born at 24 weeks and spent 6 months in 3 different hospitals before we were allowed to bring him home. He had 6 lots of laser surgery on his eyes and then had to have a 6 hour op to reattach both his retinas.

When he was 12 months he got fitted with a button for feeding which he had removed in 2019. His vision is very reduced which leads to him walking into lots of things. He has a helmet to wear when we are out and about. He has now been given a wheelchair when we are out to prevent him hurting himself even more.
