Biography

Lily was born at almost 37 weeks and we knew before she was born she would have difficulties. Lily spent 3 months in hospital before coming home.

The first 6-7 years were spent in and out of hospital with urine infections which have damaged her kidneys so that she now needs a kidney transplant. Lily's father died when Lily was 9 which obviously impacted on the family as a whole. Lily is currently being investigated for portal hypertension which has put her transplant on hold due to possible complications. Lily has just spent 2 weeks in hospital with viral pneumonia and has come home needing oxygen at night.

Lily is the happiest of children and is never miserable unless she is upset.
