Thank youThank you so very much. Bella's quilt arrived today. It is amazing. She absolutely loves it. I read her the beautiful card and she opened the quilt up. It's got donkeys and mermaids and unicorns she said. This quilt will be treasured forever. The detail is wonderful.
Please can you thank everyone who took part in making it.
I have attached a pic for you. Once again thank you for making my little girl so happy x

BiographyBella was born in 2011. She came to live with me to be fostered 3 days later. It very soon became apparent Bella was not developing as she should. She was having regular seizures and was in hospital several times. Bella was under a paediatrician and the neurological team at our local hospital. She had physio 3 times a week and attended many appointments as a baby/toddler. Bella had a sleep system fitted into her cot to keep her body straight as she slept. She had gaiters on her legs to help also. Bella has a strong determination to achieve.
All the help and appointments aided Bella to walk when she was 4. She attended a local mainstream school and had full time 1-1 support. She remains wobbly, often falls and struggles on uneven ground. She always tries her best and has a great sense of humour. I adopted Bella after a very rocky road in 2016.
Bella was at home during lockdown as schools were closed. During this time her Education,Healthcare Plan was granted and Bella got a place at our chosen Special Educational Needs school. She absolutely loves it there and has fitted in so well. She has made friends and is enjoying learning. Her favourite activities are swimming, music and the soft play area. Bella tires very easily. She is struggling with transitions and gets very upset leaving places. We are using social stories to help Bella with her difficulties. Bella completes my life and is a blessing to us all.
