Biography

Paisley-Jade was born on the 15th March at 36 weeks weighing 6lb 12oz. She was a healthy baby until September 2018 when she caught a throat virus & flu. She went into a coma within 4 hours of being unwell. Drs were treating her for sepsis but she wasn't improving. Another Dr came up to see her and guessed straight away she had ANE, he'd Luckily seen it when training, and started meds. He ordered an MRI which showed extensive brain damage and she was given a 10% survival rate. We were told she'd be a baby forever if she pulled through. She did pull through, she doesn't match her MRI outcome and is functioning fairly well.

Paisley is only one of four in the UK and one of less than 200 in the world. Paisley is a genetic which means this can keep happening with more damage done to the brain if she survives. Paisley is a denovo genetic which means myself and hubby do not have the gene mutation so she is 1 in 1 billion.
