Thank you

I was left speechless with how big it was and the stitched squares are absolutely amazing. Jason has been poorly since the start of December and it put a big smile on his face, he loves it. And the card was just an amazing touch. Thank you all so much, it really brightened up our morning.

Biography

Jason was born a healthy baby but at 5 weeks old he was shaken by his biological father. This resulted in Jason being badly brain damaged. He had a large bleed on the brain and his prognosis at the start was that he wouldn't survive. He was placed in an induced coma. After 1 week he was taken out the coma and he he has thrived (as best he can) since.

Given what the Drs had said at the start, that if he did make it, then he would be in a vegetative state. Fortunately Jason had other ideas and is always proving them wrong.

Jason is now 7 years old and over the years he has had numerous tests, scans on his head, EEGs, ECGs, hip xrays ect. He has also undergone an operation at 2 years old to have a button fitted as he could no longer eat or drink safely, alongside having a funduplication done too. Despite everything he has and is still going through, he still always wakes up with a huge smile on his face and would brighten up anyones day.

On the whole Jason has quadriplegic cerebral palsy, CVI vision, dystonic episodes. He is unable to walk or talk.
