BiographyKane was born full term with dysmorphic features, a hole in his heart and talipes. We adopted Kane when he was 15 months old.
Kane was late reaching all of his milestones as a baby but he found ways of communicating via baby signs and could shuffle around. He was, and still is, obsessed with Star Wars, space (planets & rocket ships) and roller coasters. He loves playing video games and loves to be outdoors exploring.
His talipes were corrected but have left him with mild mobility issues, he can still run faster than us though. His autism causes him to struggle with change, control his emotions and not like busy places or loud noises. Thankfully at the moment his epilepsy is well controlled and he hasn’t had any seizures for around 12 months.
Kane never lets any of his difficulties get in his way. He is the funniest little boy, loves fiercely and has more energy than anyone I’ve ever met.
