Biography

Khadijah was a normal birth with no complications or concerns. However, after birth she showed signs of shaking, abnormal eye movements and then difficulty feeding. She started vomiting regularly. At 8 weeks she was admitted to hospital due to fast breathing. Investigations began and we stayed in hospital for 2 months.

In June 2016 Khadijah was diagnosed with Aicardi Goutieres Syndrome. A rare genetic illness that has no cure and is life limiting.
