Biography

Rosie was diagnosed with Congenital diaphragmatic hernia before birth. She was intubated at 4 minutes old and remained in the NICU for a month. Rosie had just under 50% survival rate. Rosie’s stomach and bowel were in her chest meaning her lungs were underdeveloped and her heart was moved from its original place. Rosie had an operation to fix the hole in her diaphragm but from then still had several ongoing problems due to the hernia.
