Thank you

Thank you so much for the quilt, Noah was overwhelmed with the kindness and we both got completely emotional. The work those that have input in to it is exceptional. I really don't have enough words to say how much this has meant to us both. He wraps it around him most of the time. The card was a lovely touch too and made such a kind gift more personal. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts xx

Biography

Noah was as a miracle baby after a 9 year gap and from birth showed early signs of autism through his actions. His sensory needs showed and his repetitive behaviour was apparent, e.g. his love of Doctor Who, Star Wars and Marvel on repeat until he knew them word for word.

As he started school his autism anxiety grew and with sensory overload and communication struggles it became problematic to the mainstream. Noah then after several years of struggling in the systems, eventually started in an Autistic specialty school where the needed support and understanding was in abundance.

Noah has overcome so many obstacles and last year was diagnosed with a rare ear disease which has caused him to be deaf in his right ear; he’s awaiting surgery to stop the disease spreading to his brain.

Noah with all these difficulties is a very empathetic young man, everyone that meets him thinks he’s great.

With his love of cooking and aspirations to become a chef he wants to show his disabilities won’t hinder him and hopefully he’ll go far.
