Biography

Esme is a very loveable, giggly, sweet, caring 2 year old girl.

Esme was born with meconium ileus at birth, meaning at two days old she required surgery to unblock her bowel. Shortly after this she was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis. Esme has suffered with being pancreatic insufficient, meaning she needs medication and support to maintain her dietary requirements. Esme has had continuous coughs and colds and was diagnosed with asthma in November 2022 after having a lung blockage which required her to need a continual flow of oxygen for 1 week.

Esme has been in and out of hospital with her wheeze this year and now requires daily inhalers and physiotherapy a top of regular medication.

Despite all of this she always wears a smile and has a hug for everyone she meets. Esme is an absolute joy and an inspiration to those around her. We are very proud of her.

Esme is a very girly girl who loves the colour pink, bows, dresses, fairies, animals, dancing and flowers. She likes to pick her own clothes and shoes. She loves to watch ballerinas.
