Thank you

Hi, massive thanks to the lovely ladies who made my son Joshua a Love Quilt.

He has recently lost his sight in one eye and has now been diagnosed with a rare disorder called Moyamoya. He will need brain surgery at GOSH.

Your Love Quilt has put a smile on his face and I'm sure it will help him during recovery xxxx

Biography

Hi, Joshua was found to have NF1 as a baby.
In Aug he lost his sight in one eye suddenly. Dr's thought he had an optic glioma. It turned out to be a detached retina and he had emergency surgery to restore his sight. Unfortunately it didn't work and he is now blind in one eye. An MRI was carried out a week after his eye surgery and that's when they found that Joshua also had Moyamoya. The treatment for this condition is aspirin and brain surgery. He is a very positive child and despite his moderate learning problems, he always trys his best and is very caring towards others.
