BiographyLogan was dignosed a age of two with Dravet. He can have anything from 5 to 100 seizures a day. He has been under Great Ormond Street hospital from that time and is also under the care of Keech Cottage Children's Hospice. Over the last few years Logan's condition has deteriorated, which has led to him to have Apnoeic episodes. Pain multi-fractorial with Musculo-Skeletal and Dystonic causes. Also skeletal muscle spasms with early onset of contractures in the ankles. Logan also has Global Development Regression. Logan is now all gastro fed as he has no safe swallow. While we cannot be sure what will happen in the future, it is reasonable to assume that Logan will continue to deteriorate in a step-wise fashion. Logan is now under palliative care at the hospice. He loves his time there and has a good quality of life. Logan is happy-go-lucky, even in pain he has a smile. |
