BiographyAt 2 weeks old I noticed Cody's arm and foot were turning inwards and his eyes didn't open fully. I was told babies do this. At the 6 week check, they told me there was something wrong ..... at 8 weeks I was told Cody had brain damage and then after tests they found out part of Cody's brain was small, and also he has no creases in his eyelids.
After this I was told there was a different thing wrong every other week .... Cody has been in and out of hospital with different things but is still a happy boy ... in January 2012, Cody was diagnosed with severe dystonia and I have been told it could kill him. He has been in intensive care and high dependency because of this. This has burst my bubble where I thought everything is fine but I have had to face up to the fact that it is not. Even with all Cody's difficulties he is such a happy boy and is always smiling. Cody loves blankets and quilts and anything sensory he can touch x
