Biography

Shaurya is a sweet smiling and happy boy. He is a swimming champ. He was born in 2008 in India. He was born through caesarean just 20 days before the due date. Shaurya met all his milestones as per his age. He started walking at the age of 15 months. He used to say nursery rhymes and would address everyone by their name. We noticed that Shaurya started playing with the spoons, started sequencing the hot wheels car and stopped responding to his name and his speech started deteriorating. Whenever we would go out, he would always ask for hot wheels car. We discussed this with our paediatrician. According to the paediatrician it was all normal and we were told that some children speak at the age of 5 also so we should wait. When I was at work my husband took Shaurya to Lok Nayak Hospital. He was diagnosed with AUTISM just 10 days before his 3rd birthday.

Since the day Shaurya has started attending school his personality has changed and he started waking up with one call at 7:15am and straight into the shower and ready for school. This shows how much Shaurya loves going to school. After coming to the UK Shaurya is accepted in the community. We as parents feel so happy and pleased that everyone in the community accepts Shaurya and treats him as a human and part of their community but not like an alien from a different planet.
