Biography

Alfie was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy just before his 2nd birthday. Over the years he has sadly deteriorated and is now a full time wheelchair user, unable to walk or stand.

Alfie goes through a lot every day and never complains. He has endless appointments for physio, cardiology, occupational therapy, neuromuscular, psychology, endocrine and wheelchair services.

He is now approaching the end of his 2nd year in high school and has made amazing progress thanks to his amazing 1:1 who is with him every day.
