Biography

James(12) was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy(DMD) in Dec 2014, 6 months later his mother passed away.

James caught COVID in consecutive winters and each time his condition progressed and his ability decreased. The 1st time he lost the ability to walk and then last winter he lost his ability to stand.

Despite all that life has thrown at James he continues to be a caring, happy little boy and, although he has learning difficulties, James has dreams of being an architect and spends a lot of his time creating buildings and playing games on his computer where he can design.

His big dream is to live independently when he is older and travel to Japan.
