Just wanted to send a little message to let everyone know that Nells Quilt arrived yesterday.

Oh my days, wow, it is so so so beautiful!!

We have shown Nell each square and read to her who made it, and I think she likes the texture of the squares as she had been twiddling her fingers over them

She's having a bit of an "off" day today (we have quite a few of them) so is currently fast asleep under the Quilt, she loves to feels secure with something over her when she sleeps

When she wakes up we will get all cosy and have a Disney day

All of the family love it (We've practically sent every family member and friend a photo of it) it's just beautiful and so kind of everyone to make it. It will be treasured and very well looked after.

I keep looking over at her sleeping with it at the moment, and it brings a smile to my face.

Biography

Nell was Induced at term and we had suspected that something was going on from a few months old but we were ignored countless times despite multiple trips to A&E. Around 6 months old whilst in the waiting room at a hospital she had her first Tonic seizure. We began medications and to date have tried 11 medications and also the Ketogenic diet, but despite this she still has daily seizures at 4.5 years old which are very tiring for her.
