Thank youIt's arrived! And it's absolutely fabulous. It's so beautiful, your switchers are amazing.
Thank you and your stitchers so, so much. Sofia loves it. She's not been too well just lately, she has a urine infection and she's suffering with her breathing at night, so this has cheered her up no end.
Update 05/12/12:
Thank you and everyone who helped to make this most wonderful quilt. It hasn't left her bed since arriving. Sofia's been poorly for a few weeks now but hopefully on the mend now. The quilt accompanied her on the sofa during her most poorly days.
We are very very touched that there are such kind, caring people out there.
Many, many thanks.

BiographySofia is four and was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis, a life-limiting disease when she was two and a half, after she was missed by the neonatal screening for the condition.
As parents it has been very hard to accept the implications of her condition. Sofia is our only child and her joy of life is of inspiration to all of the people who know and love her.
Cystic Fibrosis affects the internal organs, especially the lungs and digestive system, by clogging them with thick sticky mucus. This makes it hard to breathe and digest food and difficult to fight off infections.
In addition she has an enlarged liver and has suffered with sleep apnoea.
Everday she takes an enormous amount of drugs. She has to undertake physio each morning, being a child she does not tolerate this well, or understand the importance of all the therapy she has to undertake. She cannot eat a snack or meal without taking medication immediately before and during eating.
Sofia is an extremely brave sensitive little girl who loves life and is the worlds greatest chatterbox.
