Thank youThank you so much for the fantastic quilt. It has arrived!
It went immediately on Faith and she looks so cuddly and warm.
Thank you to everyone. There is so much love and hard work put into the beautiful pieces. All of which are stitched together wonderfully.
The pink tissue paper was a super touch. Faith loves crunchy paper/objects.
We are all amazed at the talent of all the stitchers. Hours of hard work. We cannot stop looking at it. The countries and names make it very special and with Faith’s name on too.
The quilt far exceeded our expectations. So a big big whopping big thank you.
It is kindness like this that makes it bearable for parents to cope with the sadness of seeing a seriously disabled child struggle every day.
Faith is a lucky girl.
Love from
Faith (9), Mae (7) Alexis (mum) and Keith (dad).

BiographyFaith was born with epilepsy and I realised she was blind too. Over 2 years she lost the ability to progress with development and became worse. So much so that she is unable to move (apart from her left arm in a random way) in any way. She is not able to talk or make noises and is gastrofed (as it is not safe for her to eat). She is dependant on oxygen for her seisures, is highly medicated and has a pulse generator in her chest. Faith has spent many many months in many hospitals and requires one to one care for everything. She has had brain surgery when one years old but they were unable to remove the focal point of the epilepsy. She is very scoliotic and in a body brace all day long. Her bones are now crumbling on the inside and she suffers pain. Apart from this she is the sweetest purest little person you could ever meet. And we love her so much.
