Biography

Shaun seemed normal up until he was 3 yrs 3 months old. Then, coming back from a seaside resort, Shaun was drifting in and out of consciousness. He had a temperature of over 40 degrees so we were taken by ambulance to hospital where they said it was sunstroke. However, Shaun was diagnosed with Dravet's in 2010 he has had so many seizures I've lost count. He also has an underactive thyroid. He has just come out of hospital for the thirteenth time. This time he was in for seizures and because he had stopped eating over the past year and lost so much weight. He now has a gastrostomy.
