BiographyWe found out Freya would be born with CF at a CVS when Roberta was 12 weeks pregnant.
After further scans during pregnancy we also found out that Freya would have Meconium Ileus, a bowel blockage caused by CF.
Three days after being born Freya was operated on to remove the blockage and a Pseudo-Cyst that had formed where the bowel had been damaged due to the blockage. A section of bowel was also removed.
Freya is currently in the NICU ward at St Michaels Hospital in Bristol.
