Biography

Scarlett-May was born at 37wks on the 24/04/2014 she was sent home 2 days later even though she had not emptied her bowel on the 27/04/2014 she was rushed to hospital as she started vomiting up green stuff it was also coming out from her nose she was rushed from one hospital to another after scans and xrays it turned out that Scarlett-may had a blockage due to meconium iolas which was our first alarm of being diagnosed with cystic fibrosis she had to have 20cm of her intestines removed and ended up having a stoma in August of 2014 this was successfully reversed but then in October 2014 Scarlett-may went down hill again after losing so much salt in her sweat that her internal organs where starting to shut down she was once again admitted into hospital where she was put on potassium to help get her salt levels back up and started Ng feeds to get her weight back up she is currently doing well she has regular medication everyday twice a day and Creon with every meal and snack to help digest her food to maintain her weight and physio twice daily
