Biography

Samuel was born at 39weeks. A happy healthy baby although he was in & out of hospital due to feeding & weight gain issues. It wasn't until his 9 month development check that the Dr's picked up he was slightly delayed compared to other babies his age. Not an issue unless you already have a genetic disorder running in your family!

Samuel was re-assessed just before he was a year old & his development had dropped even further behind at this stage. The Dr's decided to test him for the genetic disorder which his older brother, cousin, 4 uncles & 2 great uncles are all effected by resulting in limited speech, hyperactivity, double incontinence, adhd etc. The results came back positive to the disorder roughly around 14mths of age!

At 18mths old Samuel started having seizures, and a couple of months later was diagnosed with epilepsy.

Samuel is a happy little boy who lives life to the full!!
