Biography

Olivia showed no sign of any illness till she was 16 months old. She started walking at 10 months and was really steady on her feet by 12 months. At 16 months she stopped walking and crawling and wanted to be held all the time. We were told it was a virus still we demanded a scan. We were then told it was a tumour and sent to QMC in Nitts from Leicester Royal. She then underwent 10 hour of brain surgery to remove 90% of the tumour and started 56 weeks of high dose chemo. She had a second surgery in September 2015 which successful removed the remaining tumour. We finished chemo in late December 2015.

Olivia is currently NED but we are told she will scan every 3 months for 3/5 years then every 6 months and she as a 60% chance of a recurrence. Olivia is doing well at the minute but does have a few balance issues. We scan again on the 15/06/2016. We hope and pray that it hadn't returned
