Biography

Zara was born in Aug 2012. We believed her to be a healthy baby. We had the heel prick test twice and nothing showed up on either. She was a very unsettled baby, constantly crying and had around 10 explosive nappies per day but health visitors put it down to reflux & a milk allergy.

From around 10 mths she had a constant cough but for years the doctor said there was nothing wrong with her.
As she got older she had a lot of toilet issues too so I used Google and all the symptoms said she had cf! I told my dr she had cf, they said no she hadn't as she’s far too healthy but we pushed for tests & were told she had.

We have had ups & downs from then with a lot of time being spent at clinic & as an inpatient. So far this year we have had 3 admissions & she’s in hospital at the minute for the last 3 weeks with lung function of 52%.
