Biography

William is my grandson, he has lived with my husband and I since he was 4 months old. His mother is maternal PKU, and did not manange her diet during pregnancy, which has left William with a damaged brain.

He also was born with talipes on his left foot, he underwent the ponseti treatment, which did not work. He had his first operation at 9 months, he has had a further 3 operations on his foot to date.

During the first op he had a really bad reaction to the morphine, he stoped breathing and he had to be resuscitated. He spent time in the HDU.

William started to suffer seizures in June 2010, he has been having treatment for them since... he cannot talk, he can walk but he is very unsteady, but he is the happiest child, with a steely determination.....

William is the brother of Amelia E
