Thank you

It is the most beautiful quilt I have ever seen and Harry is very taken with it already. It will look wonderful in his new space themed bedroom and accompany us on many future hospital stays where it will be a huge source of comfort. The love and care that has gone into each square is very apparent and I cannot thank each contributor enough.

Biography

Harry was born prematurely and very poorly. He required many life-saving surgeries but defied all the odds to leave the hospital after several months and went into foster care. He came to us when he was 2 years old.

He has severe disabilities and lots of medical needs but everyone who meets him comments on his sunny disposition and love of life. He has endured many hospital admissions over the years and survived multiple brain surgeries, meningitis, peritonitis and pneumonia several times as well as rare and life threatening bacterial infections. He has very little gross motor control and his brain condition means he spends a lot of time lying down as this is how he is most comfortable.

The future is uncertain for Harry and we are regulars at our local children's hospice but we do our best to fill each day with great memories.

As Harry is in foster care, we are unable to print his real name or a photo of him.
