Thank you

It's arrived and it's gorgeous. Liam loves it! He's sitting on the couch just now cuddling it. He keeps on counting how many Goofys there are and then pointing to his pyjama top as Goofy is also on his pyjama top!

Thank you so much, he's delighted.

Biography

Liam and his twin brother were extremely premature at 23 weeks and spent the first 6 months of their lives in the special care baby unit. Liam underwent many, many procedures during this time including laser eye surgery to prevent blindness and this was when he was diagnosed as profoundly deaf. Liam was also on home oxygen for a year.
Sadly, Liam's twin brother died when they were 3, leaving a huge gap in Liam's life which he was unable to comprehend.

Liam has never developed speech and is currently learning British Sign Language. He has mental health issues and frequently self harms but we are working with CAMHS to try to help him with this.

Liam is autistic and finds it very hard to make and keep friends due to his communication difficulties. He struggles when not at school due to the lack of routine. Liam cannot read or write and needs constant supervision as he has no sense of danger.

Life is a constant struggle for Liam as his understanding of the world is so limited.
