Biography

Daniel was a tiny baby who fed slowly initially, but grew well. He found lots of different experiences stressful and it became obvious very early on that he struggled to make sense of the world. His diagnosis with autism helped us to understand lots of his behaviours and was a turning point for getting helpful support in school and at home.
School has always been tricky for him and despite a lot of support it’s not been a positive experience on the whole and Daniel has struggled to feel safe in the school environment.
As he gets older he is learning what he enjoys and is finding new ways to manage the stresses of busy environments and the demands associated with learning.
He loves music and dancing and is very motivated by technology and computers .
