Thank you

Today my son Arran received his parcel from love quilts uk, his reaction was priceless, he is very grateful to everyone who helped make his superhero quilt and can't wait to go to bed tonight, words I have been waiting 11 years to hear, he is suffering from night terrors very badly just now so hoping this gives comfort, the workmanship that has went into this has blown me away you are very talented, thank you once again and have a lovely christmas xxx

Biography

Arran had a traumatic birth and spent a week in special baby care. Arran wasn't meeting milestones at 8 months and was unable to hold his head, sit, crawl or attempt to stand. We were referred to the Acorn Centre at our local hospital then to Glasgow Children's Hospital, where he still attends for rheumatology, orthopaedics, orthotics and the pain clinic. Arran wears orthotics and attends physio with daily exercises to strengthen his legs. Arran is in chronic pain with this and regularly dislocates his knees and hips.
Attending school on a daily basis leaves Arran in so much pain he comes home and he has to go to bed. Arran has never had a full night of sleep as he suffers night tremors which go along with the pain. There is no specific treatment or cure.
Arran uses a wheelchair to go out to enjoy family days.
Arran has a brilliant outlook on life even though his daily battle is a struggle, he would love to be a scientist so that he can find a cure for his condition and other unknown conditions.
