Biography

Leah was diagnosed with leukemia at 4 weeks old. It was then that a specialist noticed her Noonan features so she was tested and diagnosed. Leah has always been much smaller than her friends and this causes her to be upset now and then, but Leah is a little rocket and tries not to let anything get in her way. Leah also struggles with her joints and muscles as they are tight which restricts her movements along with minimal spinal movement. When Leah got given the all clear from the leukemia it wasn't long after she was diagnosed with epilepsy which we are still battling to get under control. Leah had surgery on her heart which helped but she may need more as she gets older. We are waiting to get Leah assessed as she shows a lot of signs of autism. Her learning is a struggle because of her behaviour difficulties, her understanding and emotional struggles are awful to see as she can be the most loving, outgoing girl you will ever meet, with the most beautiful biggest smile.
