Biography

Lenny received a shock diagnosis of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy in September 2021, there were no obvious symptoms and the diagnosis has shattered our world. It is a degenerative muscle condition with a limited life expectancy. He is my world and pride and joy. I am lucky to be his mummy.

Lenny has been the bravest boy and has been through so many tough appointments and is learning how to cope with his diagnosis and a wheelchair. He has recently started medication to try and slow down the muscle decline and he has amazed us all with his resilience. There is no cure, and we are trying to give Lenny the best possible life and experiences.
