Thank you so much to everyone who made something for it!

Biography

A couple of months before Ava was diagnosed, she began to look pale (assumed she was under the weather) but she was fine otherwise. She kept getting coughs/colds that wouldn’t go. She was having pains under her rib cage that were put down to growing pains by the doctors. Around a week before she had a lot of bruises and kept falling asleep. A few days before she came out in a purple rash. I got her an appointment at the walk in centre who very quickly sent us to A&E. After bloods tests, I was taken into a room and told she had leukaemia and at 2am was taken up to the oncology ward. Our whole lives fell apart including her twin sister's who misses her lots when we’re in the hospital.

Since then she lost all her hair very quickly, had over 100 nights in hospital, chemotherapy 49 times, lots of feeding tubes, multiple platelet and blood transfusions, a recent stint on intensive care. She has been the strongest person I’ve ever known and fighting so hard. I’m proud of her every single day.
