Biography

Riley was a healthy almost 1 year old when he started showing signs of having seizures. His first proper seizure was when he was with my dad and he had a fit visiting his great grandma. Our whole world felt like it was turned upside down.

We rushed straight to hospital where we were lucky enough to find a doctor who knew what it was straight away. After spending a week in hospital we were very lucky Riley was responding really well to medication.

3 months later Riley relapsed and we were back at square one and back on medication. Leading to today, Riley is spasm free but being treated for focal seizures. He has a speech and communication delay but is coming on in leaps and bounds everyday. He’s an amazing, strong and cheeky little boy and we are so proud of him!
