Biography

Oscar is an amazing 5 year old little boy who has had to go through a lot in his short life. He was born prematurely at 28 weeks and ended up with a bowel infection called “NEC” with bowel failure. He spent 4 weeks on a ventilator fighting for his life! He has never been able to eat and is tpn dependent. Last year Oscar had 3 bowel perforations in one week and nearly lost his life! All three needed surgery and ended up with Oscar in a coma on a ventilator for a month! He was finally discharged last Monday!

Oscar also has cerebral palsy. He can’t walk yet but has just learned to sit up on his own. He loves to make people laugh and smile particularly me and his dad. Oscar also has epilepsy which is well controlled amongst other health conditions.

He has spent his whole life in hospital up until a few days ago. Oscar loves cuddles and blankets are his favourite things.
