Biography

Eliana was born via emergency c-section 10 weeks early and was not expected to survive the birth. She was born not breathing and had to be resuscitated. She was placed on life support and suffered multiple brain bleeds along with neonatal respiratory distress syndrome and many other complications. Eliana spent her first 5 weeks in hospital.

Since that initial discharge she has gone on to be readmitted multiple times. She has had over 20 ambulance call outs and many hospital stays and tests etc.

Eliana struggles with her breathing and any cold goes straight to her weak chest. She has drug resistant epilepsy. She has many learning difficulties and attends a special needs unit. She is in the severe learning difficulties class. She also has severe hypermobility so she tires easily and she has a special needs pram for days out.

Despite all of this she is a trooper and is always doing her best to smile and make people laugh.
