Biography

Emma was born 7 weeks early at 33 weeks and was diagnosed in June 2022 with ALL leukaemia following a GP visit with a rash on her stomach and being very lethargic. We were blue-lighted to the main hospital in our area and told that Emma's platelets and blood levels were very low. They suspected Emma to have leukaemia and a bone marrow biopsy was needed to confirm this.

We have done all front line treatment and are now in the maintenance stage of treatment from home with monthly visits to hospital and three monthly lumbar punctures until September 2024.
