Kerr is a massive Lego fan and has a pretty big collection - all of which he has built himself. He is also an avid gamer, this is the main way he socialises with friends outside of school.

Biography

When Kerr was 3, we noticed him struggling to climb stairs and get up from the floor. We spoke to the Health visitor who referred him to a physio, then on to paediatrics who did various tests resulting in a diagnosis of Duchenne. Since then, Kerr has taken his diagnosis in his stride and is a happy and socially active young man.


He is part of a clinical trial involving weekly infusions, and has to deal with various different hospital appointments, but despite this, he is as cool as a cucumber and loves life!
