Aliza just come from hospital yesterday she’s a lot better now, but still not in fully happy mood! Thank you so much for the quilt it’s beautiful

Biography

Aliza was born via c-section as a normal child. She then got a cold sore and within four to five days she stopped sucking and drinking milk and had a high temperature. I took her to hospital and all tests were normal so we went home. The next day she had a full tonic clonic seizure but the doctors said this can happen with high temperatures and to give her paracetamol and neurofen. In the night her condition became really bad, I called an ambulance and they immediately gave her rescue medication. Again all tests were normal including the CT scan so they sent her to the HDU. An MRI scan showed a lot of brain injury and she was put on a ventilator.

After 90 days she woke up but our lives were totally changed because she wasn't a normal baby. She had a lot of difficulties and couldn't drink milk and needed a lot of medication. We stayed for four months in the hospital until she was stable. She has a lot of struggles, she cries non-stop and has a lot of medications.

Now she's 6 years old and fully relies on me. I'm a single mum with 4 and she's a totally changed person
