Biography

Jacob has lived with ichthyosis since birth, and while it means his skin needs extra care and attention every single day, it is only one small part of who he is. He is a bright, funny, and kind-hearted boy who brings so much joy to the people around him. Managing his condition takes patience and routine, but Jacob handles it with quiet strength, even on the days when it feels frustrating or uncomfortable. His resilience shows just how amazing he truly is.

Like many children with visible differences, Jacob sometimes feels self-conscious about his skin, especially when others notice or ask questions. But those who know him see far beyond his condition, they see a caring friend, a loving son, and a boy full of personality and potential. With the right support and understanding, Jacob continues to grow in confidence, learning that what makes him different also makes him strong, and that he is valued exactly as he is.
