Biography

Kahlan is a strong, determined and resilient young person who has faced many challenges with incredible courage. She was diagnosed with epilepsy at the age of five and lives with absence seizures, Jeavons syndrome and tonic-clonic seizures. Later, at the age of ten, she was also diagnosed with ADHD.

Despite the difficulties that can come with these conditions Kahlan continues to show remarkable perseverance. She approaches life with determination and always does her best, even when things are tough. At school she sometimes finds learning harder because of difficulties with memory, but she never lets that stop her from trying. Kahlan always gives things a go and keeps pushing herself forward.
