Interests: Molly loves flamingos, fairies and insects like butterflies and ladybirds. She likes rainbows, flowers and unicorns. She enjoys watching Disney films, the Disney princesses and Lilo and Stitch are her favourites. She enjoys reading, arts and crafts and drawing. Molly likes ice skating and running. She is in Rainbows, attends art club and does swimming lessons. She likes the cinema, bowling and the zoo. She plays the piano and likes listening to music.

Biography

Molly was born happy and healthy at 39 weeks. From early on she was hitting her milestones, and we had little concern in the early days.

In 2020, her brother was diagnosed with Chromosome 3p26.3 Deletion syndrome, and Molly underwent the same testing the following year, confirming she has the same genetic condition as her brother.

Molly has started to struggle more as she has become older, whilst she is very intelligent and doing extremely well at school, socially and emotionally she struggles. She has a lot of anxiety, and worries about lots of things in daily life. She becomes overwhelmed by loud noise, and her own emotions which she doesn’t always understand.

Molly is a caring girl, who makes us laugh with her quirky comments and sassy attitude! She loves spending time role playing with toys, being active and running. Her future is unknown, due to the rarity of her genetic condition, but she always tries hard and finds the good in every day!
