H's quilt    (Quilt Closed)

Theme details

Dinosaurs - Given H's autism, please keep to realistic or cute style dinosaurs (so no abstract patterns, patterns made up of squares or other stylised patterns)

Child Interests

H loves dinosaurs and tends towards green more than other colours - though is also a big fan of Rainbow colours in the 'right' order.

H has a fantastic smile and is often happy and giggling.

Biography

H will be turning 7 years old soon. H loves sensory play, lining toys up and routines. H loves dinosaurs, numbers and nursery rhymes. H loves food, the stronger the flavour the better. Curry is probably the favourite.

H has had all the typical signs of autism since we met 3 years ago. With an autism diagnosis confirmed just before starting school, H was accepted to a specialist school which they love. H is thriving at home and school, getting a good balance of self-led learning and adult led learning.

H communicates more and more, now having 6 signs (more, please/thank you, drink, food and help me), and is starting to understand simple instructions, such as 'shut the door' and 'put your shoes on'.

H is currently really interested in letters and numbers. Recently H has started being able to give the correct number toy when asked to find them.
H loves being outside so we spend lots of time in play parks, in the garden or on walks. H has also enjoyed a couple of camping trips with us.

H loves our camp blankets, feeling how the badges are sewn on and looking at all the pictures, and I'm sure will love the cross stitch on the quilt too. Thank you!

H is in foster care hence not using their full name and information being brief.
