Biography

Eleanor was born with an as yet unknown heart and kidney condition.when she was 6 weeks old she was rushed by ambulance to Guy's hospital, London where she had 1 kidney removed and had a huge number of tests, these investigations went on for the next 2 years as Eleanor had trouble feeding, had to have a gastrostomy tube, couldn't sit up or stand and was very delayed in her development. She was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy(an enlarged heart) when she was 2 and then received a diagnosis of Muscular Dystrophy.

Over the last few years Eleanor has tried very hard to learn to walk and to become more independent but has started deteriorating and has now been diagnosed with severe dystonia and will be undergoing brain surgery on October 12th. despite all this Eleanor is a very happy smiley child and loves being with her friends and going to school.
